Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Back Mount version?

The Gen 3 was designed to fit into tight spaces, having the same depth as the Gen II Back Mount, so the standard Gen 3 can be used as Side Mount and Back Mount.

For Back Mount applications, we recommend using the Left Side Mount due to the swing direction of the cover, but because the cover can be lifted off the hinges, the controls of either Side Mount will be easily accessible.

No, do not loosen or remove the standard Socket Plug when the vessel is pressurized. To facilitate quicker cleanout, some customers have connected an adapter to the 1-1/16 - 12 UN-2 port and installed a ball valve to allow for debris to blow out of the port while the vessel is pressurized. Doing this on your vessel would depend on whether your site's safety standards allow for it.

For the product to be NACE MR0175 compliant, order the base code with "S6" at the end. For example: "LCLS6"
