The term “trim set” can refer to several Kimray products but generally describes the internal components of a control valve that regulate production flow rate — opening and closing to control pressure and rate.

Stem Guided Trim Sets:

A Stem Guided High Pressure Control Valve Trim Set includes a seat as well as a ball and stem connected as a single assembly. These trim sets are available in:
3 trim types – Linear, Quick Opening (Snap), and Equal Percentage (EP)
5 material options – 316 Stainless Steel, D2 Steel, 17-4PH, Carbide, and Zirconia
10 size configurations – 1/8" to 1" to match a wide range of valve applications
Each trim material offers different levels of corrosion and erosion resistance, helping you select the right combination for standard, corrosive, erosive, or mixed service environments.
Cage Guided Plug Assembly:

These assemblies are available in four material options and four trim types, allowing for precise flow control across a wide range of pressure and service conditions.
LPHV Plug Assembly:

LPHV Pneumatically Operated Liquid Dump Valves also use plug assemblies, offered in full port or reduced port configurations. These trims are available in three material options, designed to handle standard, corrosive, or erosive liquid production applications.
Stuffing Box Assembly:

A Stuffing Box Assembly is not considered a trim set but is often replaced at the same time during valve maintenance. These assemblies provide reliable sealing around the valve stem and are available in two material options, covering both Cage Guided and Stem Guided configurations for all end connection sizes.
