Pressure Reducing Regulators control pressure downstream of the valve. Featuring an adjustable set point, they are commonly used as suction control valves on compressors.
These valves are classified as intermittent venting (non-bleed), and meet most producer's emissions standards. Some models are available in a non-vent version.
