This product notice is to inform you that we have released an orifice reducer kit for 2" and 3" weight operated dump valves.
This new kit will allow producers to reduce their calculated peak instantaneous volume flash rate for emissions reporting purposes, because the orifice reduces the Cv of the valve at its fully open position.
In certain cases, this solution could also reduce oscillation of the weighted arm by reducing the flow through the valve. This could be an effective solution in conditions where the current calculated Cv is greater than the full port valve Cv at 30% open.
The orifice is made of corrosion resistant Delrin material and comes as a full seat assembly that easily replaces the existing seat in your valve.
