Building a House with Habitat for Humanity
In June 2023 we had the opportunity to help frame a house with our friends at Habitat For Humanity! It was great getting to serve those in our community.

Thanksgiving Baskets for Anna's House Foundation
We loved getting to partner with Anna's House Foundation for the third year in a row to provide Thanksgiving baskets for foster families!
This year, Kimray was able to provide 40 baskets that were filled with the essential groceries a family could need for a full Thanksgiving meal.
Family Day at the Ballpark
We had amazing weather for Kimray's Family Day at the Bricktown Ballpark!
Team members and their families took over the stadium to enjoy all kinds of activities, including a special visit from Dodger Dogs Brix and Brooklyn and Kimray's own mascot Aarthur!
Trash Cleanup for Adopt a City Street
Thank you to all the Kimray team members who served Saturday with Adopt A City Street! Special thanks to our security team for keeping volunteers safe from road traffic.
The team collected 18 bags of trash along a one-mile stretch of Santa Fe Avenue!

1948 – 1960
Investing in Innovation
- 1948 — Garman Kimmell invents the Back Pressure Regulator, Founds Kimray
- 1950 — Control Equipment Incorporated becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in the Permian Basin
- 1951 — Kimray moves to current location - 52 NW 42nd St
- 1957 — Invention of Glycol Pump
- 1958 — Garman Kimmell develops equipment for Oklahoma's first open heart surgery
1960 – 1980
Building Partnerships
- 1963 — Rocky Mountain Oilfield Warehouse becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in the Rocky Mountain region
- 1972 — Kimray Medical Associates is formed
- 1973 — Double EE becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in the Williston Basin
- 1977 — The first Kimray Distributors Meeting is held in Oklahoma City
1980 – 2000
Cultivating a Healthy Culture
- 1982 — Kimray opens Oklahoma City Sales and Service Store to support energy producers in the Anadarko Basin
- 1989 — Kimray partners with Motorola to start an oil field automation product line
- 1992 — Character-focused development is introduced and emphasizes training team members toward character as well as competency
- 1992 — Open Book Management is introduced so team members know what’s happening with the company’s finances
- 1992 — Trend Services becomes an authorized Kimray distributor, and later an authorized Service Center
2000 – 2015
New Leadership and Store Expansion
- 2001 — Wika becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in Canada
- 2001 — Kimray opens Bakersfield Sales & Service to support energy producers on the west coast
- 2002 — Kimray Sales & Service stores open in the Gulf Coast
- 2005 — Tom Hill takes over as President of Kimray
- 2005 — Kimray opens Pennsylvania Sales and Service Store to support energy producers in the Marcellus-Utica Basin
- 2005 — Ameritech becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in China
- 2009 — Kimray expands the Oklahoma City campus with the purchase of 5 additional buildings
- 2012 — FCM becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in Mexico
- 2013 — Make a Difference Foundation is launched to help support Kimray team members experiencing unforeseen financial hardship
2015 – 2023
The Future Takes Shape
- 2015 — Vision 2030 is developed and presented to team members as how Kimray will look in 15 years
- 2015 — Great Game of Business is launched at Kimray, as well as additional financial literacy training
- 2017 — DNOW becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in the Middle East and North Africa
- 2017 — Comsert becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia
- 2018 — Store managers Jess Ring and Steve Copeland purchase Kimray Sales & Service in Bakersfield, TX, and rebrand to Rinco Equipment Sales
- 2019 — Bull Supply becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in Ecuador & Peru
- 2019 — Gemini Enterprises becomes an authorized Kimray distributor to support energy producers in Turkey
- 2021 — Kimray acquires Control Equipment Inc.
