A High Pressure Erosive Solution
Looking for a high pressure solution? The T-Body High Pressure Control Valve is designed specifically for the erosive production conditions in today’s oilfield.
The key feature of the T-Body is a hardened replaceable wear plug. This plug is designed to absorb the force of sand and other erosive materials that damage control valve bodies. It can be inspected and replaced without removing the valve from your pipeline.

The Low Pressure High Volume Valve provides long-lasting, robust control of low-pressure applications through flowback and in erosive applications.
The design of the LPHV creates a low-contact flow path for production fluid. This means that when the valve is open, more volume can flow through the valve with less contact—and damage—on the valve body and trim.

Best Dump Valve for Flowback Sand
Sand is abrasive and really tough on all flowback equipment, including piping, vessels, and valves. To prevent failure, operators have to regularly repair valves during flowback - sometimes after as little as one day of use.
Kimray’s Piston Balanced Throttling (PBT) Liquid Dump Valve pulls the seat, trim, and stem out of the flow path. This means that when the valve opens, the abrasive flowback can dump while causing less damage to these internal parts.

A producer in the Anadarko Basin was experiencing accelerated erosion in their diaphragm-balanced liquid dump valve. This valve is a good lower-cost option for normal conditions where erosion is not an issue. Carbide Trim
Carbide is a hard metal used in valve trim for erosive environments. In an ASTM G65 test of material loss, Carbide trim performed 2.5x better than our standard D2 steel trim. The hardness of this material and the quick opening design make Carbide a good option for erosive applications.
Zirconia Trim
When you need a material harder than Carbide, Zirconia trim should be used. Zirconia is a hard ceramic material used for extremely sanding conditions. In the same test of material loss, Zirconia trim performed 16x better than our standard D2 steel trim.
