People & Culture Intern

Job Summary: The Kimray Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment. Interns work alongside industry experts, contribute to real projects, and develop technical and professional skills for future success. Guided by our mission—to make a difference in the lives of those we serve—Kimray provides an internship experience built on service, integrity, and continuous improvement. Through mentorship and collaboration, interns gain insight into our culture and the values that drive innovation and excellence at Kimray.

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to a summer project, there will be opportunities to do some of the following, based on project assignment:

  • Support in various People & Culture initiatives includes Compensation and/or Learning & Organizational Development projects
  • Assist with the design of a job architecture framework
  • Learn concepts regarding job description development and job pricing
  • Contribute to HRIS functions across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all related materials are properly organized.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business/Finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
