Sales Trainer I

Job Summary: Maximizes the effectiveness of the sales force by determining and solving training needs. Leads classroom, field, and online training for team members covering sales processes, product, and basic industry knowledge.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops, implements, and modifies training programs.
  • Reports on individual progress and identifies additional training needs.
  • Collaborates with product managers and marketing teams to ensure training materials align with product specifications and market demands.
  • May assist in developing new training material associated with the introduction of new products, processes, or services.
  • Helps oversee the sales enablement platform and other sales tools.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member.
  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in training techniques or technologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years' experience in Kimray controls and sales processes or production applications preferred
  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Must have proficient computer and technological skills
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Work Environment:

  • Office/Field environment
  • Limited exposure to oils or other cutting fluids
  • Limited exposure to fluctuating temperatures for extended periods of time
  • Limited exposure to large moving equipment, elevated noises, oscillating machines, moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, chemicals and elevated surfaces

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive use of hands
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

  • Some travel required
