Raised in Enid, Oklahoma, Trevor is a seasoned attorney and public servant with a distinguished record in both the judiciary and executive branches of state government. After graduating from Pioneer-Pleasant Vale High School, he earned a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and a J.D., cum laude, from Oklahoma City University.
He began his legal career in private practice as a litigator before being appointed as a Special District Judge in Oklahoma County. He was later appointed by Governor Mary Fallin as an Oklahoma County District Judge, where he presided over civil matters and ultimately served as Chief Judge of the Juvenile Justice System. His judicial career continued with an appointment to the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals by Governor Kevin Stitt, who later named him General Counsel to the Governor.
Following three years in that role, Trevor founded the Pemberton Law Group with a focus on mediation, appellate work, and matters involving government and public policy—guided by a deep commitment to reconciliation and constructive resolution of conflict.
In addition to his legal and public service, Trevor is active in the community. He has served as chairman of the boards of SALLT and the OCU Law Alumni Association and is the co-founder and former chairman of Course for Change. He is an engaged member of Skyline Church and, above all, a follower of Jesus Christ.
