This product notice is to inform you that we will be using an alternate material for items 196, 198, and 276—gaskets used in our 2” and 4” Regulators and Low Pressure Control Valves as well as their associated repair kits.
With the extreme supply chain volatility we continue to experience, we are continuously looking for ways to mitigate the effects of material constraints on our customers. One of the ways we do that is by having alternate supplier and material options for as many components as we can.
The alternate material for items 196, 197, and 276 is equivalent in functional use, but it is a different color than our standard material. Since there is a visible difference between the two, we want to inform you to prevent any potential confusion or concern. While we currently anticipate this being a temporary replacement, these alternative gaskets may be utilized moving forward.
