This product notice is to inform you that we are formally discontinuing the AFR pilot.
The AFR is a legacy pilot. This discontinuation is taking place due to low sales and functional redundancy among the more standard pilots that are available in the Pressure Pilot product series.
In place of the AFR, Kimray recommends using an AHJ pressure pilot. In addition to performing the same function as the AFR, the AHJ also has additional features such as separate, dedicated ports for a sense line and a supply line which provides emissions-free capabilities for producers.
The additional features of the AHJ are possible due to the addition of extra components within the assembly, namely the additional pilot housing that creates a sense cavity that can be isolated from the supply source.
