Warehouse Clerk I - 2nd Shift
Job Summary: The Warehouse Clerk I ensures daily functions and procedures of the warehouse are followed. Specific roles may include receiving, order pulling, material handling, or shipping functions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Moving and storing items of various sizes and weights either manually or with powered and unpowered equipment.
- Performing digital and paper inventory transactions for transfers, purchase orders, manufacturing orders, or customer orders.
- Using computers or physical documents to gather information or verify data.
- Problem solving within groups or alone.
- Working with various teams on safety, process improvement, or other projects.
- Cross training into other roles within the warehouse group.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 months experience in related field preferred
- Forklift and Pallet Jack Certification preferred
- Ability to operate scales, computers, hoists, printers, scissor lifts, hand trucks, wrap machines, forklift, aisle master, hand scanners, WAV and pallet jack
- Must be capable of basic mathematical equations and conversions for weight, measurements, and volume
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have proficient computer and technological skills
- Must be proficient with verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Professional License:
- Preferred Forklift and Pallet Jack
Work Environment:
- Warehouse - PPE required in specific areas
- Potential proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical currents, oils and chemicals
- Potential exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
- Extreme temperatures for more than an hour possible
- Consistently elevated noise levels in work area
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.
