Customer Support Specialist I
Job Summary: Responsible for managing customer orders and shipments, researching and resolving complaints and ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains customer relationship with Kimray store through email, phone, or walk-ins.
- Enters orders and responds to basic customer inquiries and concerns.
- Provides quotes to customers.
- Provides basic product selection assistance to customers.
- Promotes Kimray products.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Maintains end of day filing system and emails.
- Proactively reviews customer back orders and communicates updated availability to customers.
- Participates in regular system and product training.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member.
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Seeks opportunities to add knowledge through the Kimray L&D group, peer group, and direct supervisors.
- Completes assigned Level 1 Training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years prior sales experience
- Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Must have proficient computer knowledge
- Capable of effectively communicating information to internal and external groups in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Work Environment:
- Office Environment
- Warehouse/Repair Shop Environment as needed
- PPE Required in Specific Areas
Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive use of hands
- Lifting, pushing and pulling up to 75 lbs.
