Training Coordinator

Job Summary: Prepares, facilitates, monitors and documents training activities for the Training Department as well as delivers some training programs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate training events within the department
  • Facilitates speakers and trains some modules for the new team member orientation
  • Maintain all training materials needed for classes
  • Print all training certificates
  • Order all supplies needed for the training department
  • Work with the LMS Administrator to maintain training records
  • Delivers identified training programs for team members
  • Help proofread internal materials and training manuals
  • Help the team with some design and marketing of materials
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member
  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years' experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Must have intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
  • Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Work Environment:

  • Office environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive use of hands
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
