What are 3-Way and 4-Way Multi-Port Valves?

A 3-way or 4-way multi-port valve provides maximum control of fluid diversion and/or mixing applications for oil and gas producers. These valves feature either 3 or 4 access ports to the valve body. As a result, a producer can chart multiple flow patterns, allowing for greater design flexibility in piping systems.

Multi-Port Valves

We has a variety of 3- and 4-way valves. Here are three:

  1. Multi-Port Series Valves. The flanged, side-entry Multi-Port Series features a unique one-piece ball and stem design for precise positioning of the ball. As a result, this allows you to use any side as an inlet or block port without leakage.
  2. Bottom Entry Series Valves. The Bottom Entry Series features a one-piece integral body and, dimensionally, is also a direct replacement for non-lubricated plug valves, resulting in a lower weight, more cost-effective solution.
  3. Bottom Flow Tri-Pro Valves. The Bottom Flow Tri-Pro series offers many of the same benefits of the 2-way Tri-Pro Series and can be operated in a non-transflow pattern, meaning flow can not occur across the outlets during a position change.
