Why does the industry prefer Kimray thermostats and pilot guards? It’s simple. That’s the answer. Simple to install, simple to use, simple to replace and best of all, they simply work. When the engineers at Kimray were tasked with the idea of creating a thermostat that fit into the Kimray line, they knew it should be reliable, easy to use and created to handle the rigors of a well site. What they created in 1950’s remains the basis of what we sell today.
Kimray thermostats are the industry standard for reboilers, heat exchangers, cooler shutter controls, salt bath heaters, steam generators and indirect heaters.
The first thing to consider when choosing a Kimray thermostat is temperature and the second is how you need it to operate. Take a look at the choices below to determine the thermostat that best fits your needs.
When you receive your new thermostat, grasp it around the end with the dial. This will ensure that the bi-metal tube does not get bent, reducing the accuracy. The dial end of the thermostat is actually a carefully calibrated piece of equipment. If dropped on the dial end, it can change that calibration, causing the thermostat to lose accuracy.
