Commonly used for controlling a set temperature in direct or indirect heaters, emulsion treaters, reboilers, steam generators, heat exchangers, cooler shutter controls and salt bath heaters, Kimray Temperature Controllers are pilots that sense temperature and send a pneumatic signal, usually to a control valve (burner valve) that will allow more or less fuel gas to a burner.
Modulated (throttling) signal output. Can be direct or indirect signal output based on how it is installed.
Direct Throttle Thermostat
Modulated (throttling) output signal is amplified so that output pressure increases/decreases faster per degree of temperature change as compared with the base model. "Direct" means that output pressure increases as temperature increases and vice versa.
Indirect High Temperature Shut-Down
For temperature-controlled system shutdown until manually reset.
Indirect Throttle Thermostat Package
This package consists of a base model indirect throttle thermostat assembly operating a 1" pressure opening control valve. A filter pop valve is assembled as a relief valve in the event the upstream (supply) pressure gets too high.
