Job Summary:  The Supply Chain BI Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing reports to help support the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams evaluate business development strategy.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works with Supply Chain team to determine report requirements for supporting effective business decisions
  • Analyzes existing manual reports and identifies opportunities for automation
  • Manages projects to extend or enhance the effectiveness of the Planning System
  • Provides project management support for cross departmental efforts
  • Creates simulated production plans to support tactical and strategic decision making
  • Develops, implements and maintains metrics, reports and dashboards
  • Provides information and analysis essential for planning and strategic decision making
  • Extracts, transforms and loads data from relational databases to generate reports
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in related field required
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS-SQL Server, ERP/DB2 preferred
  • Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Project management skills
  • Must have advanced computer and technological skills
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or similar required
