Job Summary:  Prepares, conducts and evaluates technical training programs and collaborates with the Training department to build out material for the Learning Management System.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conducts classes regarding advanced computer skills, system usage, digital security, system installation, programming and repair of software, hardware and other IT systems
  • Documents and develops specifications, features and operations of applications and systems
  • Delivers end user training on technology solutions
  • Defines data requirements for training environment per course, as required
  • Works with application developers and technical programmers to ensure accuracy of user materials
  • Resolves computing problems for internal customers
  • Gathers data and analyzes business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users
  • Edits and finalizes training materials based on testing and piloting activities
  • Provides IT support for regulatory and compliance activities
  • Collects detailed information to categorize requests and determine training demands
  • Assists in the creation of simulations, class exercises, job aids, reference guides, e-learning materials, instructor presentation content and assessments for assigned courses according to instructional design and communication principles
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member
  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • 8-10 years’ experience in related field
  • Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Must have advanced computer and technological skills
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
